"Riposto pourrait être une très charmante petite ville sicilienne, bien positionnée au bord de la mer et au pied de l'Etna.
Les bâtiments officiels (mairie + église) sur la place centrale sont très beaux.
Malheureusement, beaucoup de bâtiments privés sont délabrés, la rénovation coûterait sûrement trop cher. Par ailleurs les trottoirs ne sont pas en bon état, il faut faire très attention où on marche.
Les plages de galets sont plutôt agréables (eau propre, poissons dans les rochers), mais les gens laissent leurs déchets sur place, quel dommage. Pourtant la municipalité tente de mettre en place des poubelles de tri pour les déchets (y compris dans les locations saisonnières).
Pour les transports: je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de tester les bus (peu nombreux a priori), mais les trains vers Catane depuis Giarre étaient propres et 100% à l'heure.

"1) confusion with parking, it is not clearly explained where and how to park. The parking machines were turned off, until a local citizen advised me. that they are turned on only for the season.
2) there are no public toilets, let them be paid, but this service is seriously missing

"Roposto has potential to become a great resort town with the proper investment. "

"Although the place is a little frayed at the edges and there is an issue with litter away from the centre of town, the beach is a great relaxing place, the water is clean, it has excellent restaurants, its proximity to Taormina and the reliable public transport links make it a great place to stay "
